New Zealanders impacted by the 2022 New South Wales and Queensland floods are eligible for financial support from Services Australia (formerly Centrelink).

Australian citizens and anyone granted Permanent Residency can also access financial support.

There are two types of support:

• Disaster Recovery Payment – a one-off grant; and
• Disaster Recovery Allowance – a short term payment if your income has been affected.
