As of 1 July 2018 New Zealanders should apply for their initial Resident Return Visa online by creating an ImmiAccount. Read how to apply online under Step-by-step information on Home Affairs Resident Return Visa page.
If you are unable to apply online you can submit a paper RRV application form. After 1 July 2018 applying on paper will incur an $80 non-internet fee. Using an out-dated application from will see your application declined. You should be able to re-apply online.
