There are a number debates taking place in the coming weeks in New Zealand between Prime Minister Bill English and Labour leader Jacinda Ardern, leaders of the minor parties and the young party leaders.
Details are still being ascertained, but the debates will be streamed live via the TVNZ, TV3 and The Press websites and Facebook pages.
Monday 4 September – NewsHubNZ leaders debate, 8.30 pm NZ time (6.30 pm AEST)
Wednesday 6 September – Spinoff Facebook debate all parties represented 6.00 pm (4.00 pm AEST)
Thursday 7 September – The Press/Stuff leaders debate, 6.00 pm NZ time (4.00 pm AEST)
Friday 8 September – TVNZ 1, minor party leaders debate, 7.00 pm NZ time (5.00 pm AEST)
Thursday 14 September – TVNZ 1, Young Leaders debate, 7.30 pm NZ time (5.30 pm AEST)
Wednesday 20 September – TVNZ 1, Labour/National leaders debate, 7.00 pm NZ time (5.00 pm AEST)
