Greg Barns, of the Australian Lawyers Alliance, has slammed the Key Government for not going into bat for New Zealanders being deported from Australia.

Regardless of their crimes released or deported prisoners have rights and deserve to be supported. They must be provided with accurate information on the process of their deportation and the avenue to appeal the decision – which they are entitled to from either country.
